Dodge Ram Ac Fan Not Blowing

Come to find out from the dealer the resistor is inside the blower motor.

Dodge ram ac fan not blowing. After searching google for an hour i came across the answers. I recently bought an 06 2500 qcsb and notice that the ac was cold but did not pump out much volume of air even on the high setting. The condenser fan motor may have died. Suspect faulty switch but don t know how to test to confirm.

2014 dodge ram 1500 ecodiesel laramie longhorn. Re installed motor ran direct power to it and runs fine. A common problem for the dodge ram pick up truck is to have low airflow even though the blower fan can be heard loud and strong. Fuse is good fan motor removed and connected to power and works fine.

It s been on 2 different scans and both passed with no faults. So i replaced the blower motor. Flat head screwdriver 3 screws. Heater fan will not blow air just suddenly stopped.

Ac blower works sometimes and sometimes not. When the fan stops working freon will heat up and be unable to cool down quickly causing the vents to blow hot air at times. Didn t find much on blower motors for 4th gen rams so hopefully this video will help someone out to diy instead of going to a shop and getting charged lord. Fusses and relays are good.

Usually the problem is because of a broken fresh air door aka recirculate door. Ac was not blowing when we did the scan. Step 1 locate the ac box under the passengder dashboard and remove the ac blower motor. To check the condenser fan open the hood and observe if the fan turns off when the engine is running.
