Dishwasher Drain Solenoid Leaking
Leaks under the dishwasher can be caused by a leaking drain line broken heating element water seal leaking pump and motor assembly or leak in the water inlet assembly.
Dishwasher drain solenoid leaking. Removed the drain solenoid. Note when reinstalling the sump be sure that the sump is pressed down in the grove good or it will leak. The drain hose feeds water from the dishwasher to the drain pump drain line and eventually out your sink drain all visible only once you remove the kickplate panel at the base of your appliance.
Sometimes the seal will go bad and cause your ge dishwasher pump to leak. It looks like the seal between the drain solenoid and the drain itself has deteriorated and should be replaced. Looks like a new sump assembly for this guy. This part 1 2 inch in diameter that is right against the drain around where the shaft comes out popped right off. If the inlet valve is the source of the problem do not use the dishwasher until it has been repaired. A dishwasher leak from the water inlet valve can be dangerous due to the wires that are also attached to the solenoid valve.
