If you don t have an enzyme cleaner on hand then you may try to get rid of the dog poop or diarrhea stain using a homemade detergent vinegar solution.

You want the diarrhea to dry so you are not smudging it around the carpet making it worse. However dealing with dog poop and diarrhea in furniture upholstery or carpeting is a particularly challenging task that no owner relishes having to deal with.
